  1. About us

 

RUFbus Mobilitäts GmbH offers rides between over 130 stations. The call-share taxi enables rides to and from hiking starting points, errands and provides the option to enjoy a car free holiday. The RUFbus Semmering-Rax is a helpful tool regarding coverage of the last mile and an important offer in the on-demand transport sector.

 

Since our stations offer a solution for different needs, our target group and our stops are rather versatile. Tourists, day-guests as well as locals are able to use the offer. As we do care about the CO² emissions and the aim of sustainably reducing those, our rides get bundled. The system of the call-share taxi will bundle those rides, that are in the same time frame and close enough locally.

 

1. Scope of the privacy policy

 

As soon as you perform the registration with the RUFbus App, the privacy policy is being applied. Also the privacy policy is being applied when you want to book a ride or make a ride request. It is also applied when using our hotline.

 

It may be necessary to update the privacy policy. You can find the information regarding the current version in the left upper corner.

 

2. Accountability

 

RUFbus Mobilitäts GmbH, FN 652106 f, Hauptstraße 115 2651 Reichenau an der Rax, mobile number +43 660 900 88 22, is accountable for data protection according to article 4 number 7 DSGVO. In accordance with the DSGVO the accountable person can either be natural or legal, an authority, an institution or a different office, that has the ability to decide over the purposes and means regarding the processing of the personal data, alone or with others.  

 

3. Definition of personal data

 

Personal data is information about a natural person that is or can be identified.  A person is identifiable when it is possible to use a name, number, location, online specification or other specific features to directly or indirectly identify it as a natural person.

 

Personal data includes the name, e-mail address, phone number, booking code, ticketcode and costumer number.

 

4. Information sources of personal data

 

In accordance with article 6 DSGVO the legal basis of processing the personal data is either the contract fulfilment, the fulfilment of a legal obligation, your agreement or our justified interests, that is the requirement to collect and process the data in order to be able to execute the agreement correctly, that can also include the processing of the personal data for other causes.

 

The relatable information may derive from or for the following causes, purposes or sources:

 

  • If you book a ride with the RUFbus Semmering-Rax

  • If you register in our app – requirement for booking a ride

  • If it is necessary to contact you

  • If you engage with the customer service

  • If you assert your rights

  • For statistical investigation

  • For entrepreneurial risk analysis

 

 

5. General topics regarding the app

 

We save the route of your booking to show you the detailed course of the ride. The information can also be used as booking confirmation.

 

Following data will get collected and processed:

 

  • name and surname or username

  • customer and User- ID

  • contact details (E-Mail, mobile number)

  • password

  • approval of the general terms and conditions

  • ticket information, information about the rides and travelers

  • device information as well as IP-address (upon registration and deregistration and change of registered data)

  • favorites

  • payment method

  • real time information before, during and after the ride (in particular change of departure or arrival time, cancellation, boarding and deboarding information)

  • location information for purposes of booking or connection request, if approved

  • addresses of the pick-up and drop-off locations

  • log-in data

 

Without these data it is not possible to execute the agreement correctly so that we cannot perform your booking.

 

6. information about the RUFbus account

 

To use our app, you have to create an account.

To set up the account we need following information:

  • Name and surname or username

  • E-mail address

  • Approval of the general terms and conditions, including time of approval

  • Mobile number for the access code you need to create the account and for further notification

  • Password of your choice

 

To set up the account you have to enter the access code that got sent to the mobile number you chose to use. If you open the app after the account is already set up, usually you are already logged in.

You can log out again via the log out button in the menu.

If you want to deactivate your account, you can call our customer service at +43 660 900 88 22.

 

7. Information according to article 12ff of the DSGVO

 

According to article 4 number 7 DSGVO RUFbus Mobilitäts GmbH is accountable for the data protection. If there are any questions regarding the privacy policy or personal data, you can contact us:

In accordance to article 13 DSGVO we collect personal data in the following cases in order to be able to execute the agreement correctly:

 

  • When you book a ride

  • When you create an account

  • When you request a booking

  • When you request a refund or compensation

  • When you contact our customer-service

  • When we contact you in order to be able to execute the agreement correctly (e.g. notification of departure time)

  • When you leave us some feedback

  • When you participate in direct mails or customer surveys - presupposed you gave us permission for that

 

If we do not provide the performance ourselves, we use a third party to fulfil the job.

The third party can be e.g. a taxi company. Following information will be passed on:

 

  • Name of the person that booked the ride

  • Number of people

  • Fare

  • Pick-up location

  • Pick-up time

  • Arrival time

 

In cases of complaints or other requests, the personal data can be passed on to following recipients, if needed:

 

  • Comissioned legal representative in case of civil law disputes concerning the specific contractual relationship (article 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO)

  • In individual cases, the competent administrative authority in connection with an administrative proceeding concerning the specific contractual relationship

  • In individual cases, the competent court or other authority in connection with a court or administrative proceeding concerning the specific contractual relationship (article 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO)

  • Comissioned debt collector to collect open claims

The processing of the data happens based on the following legally framework conditions:

 

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data

We only save personal data to the extent necessary and delete them when no longer required and latest after expiry of the three year statutory limitation period specified by civil law, except to the extent required for an ongoing legal proceeding we will keep the personal data till the proceedings are closed.

 

You have the following rights:

 

  • Right to obtain information (article 15 DSGVO)

  • Right of correction and deletion (article 16 DSGVO)

  • Right of deletion (article 17 DSGVO)

  • Right of restriction (article 18 DSGVO)

  • Right of data portability (article 20 DSGVO)

You can withdraw your approval at any time without giving a reason.

 

8. Use of payment information

 

Since there is only the option to pay cash in person, at the moment, we will not collect any payment information. Please do notice, that you have to pay the fare before the beginning of the ride.

 

9. Booking via telephone hotline

 

You can also book your ride via hotline under +43 660 900 88 22. For the booking we need your name and surname, mobile number, pick-up and drop-off location as well as the time you would like to get picked up.

After checking the availability, we can book the ride for you. If you want to cancel the ride booked via hotline, you can only cancel via the hotline.

 

10. Feedback

 

After the ride is finished, you have the possibility to give us some feedback so we can improve our service on an ongoing basis. The feedback is voluntary and no personal data get collected.

 

11.Distribution of the RUFbus app

 

The app gets distributed by the Google- and Apple Play Stores. This means, that the distribution and use are also subject to the specific terms and conditions of the stores.
